"If you missed American soul sensation, Lisa Hunt and her band Forever Soul at the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay last week, then you missed an absolutely fantastic night! One of my best friends Roma is a real fan of Lisa's and 'raves' about her all the time. So I thought I would see what all the fuss was about and went along to hear this talented "diva".
Well, Roma were you right! This lady is simply sensational! She has one of the best voices I have ever heard and her performance was one of the best I have ever been to. A huge crowd danced for two hours (Including myself) nonstop and it was great to see so many locals enjoying themselves. Lisa Hunt has a fantastic repertoire of songs, including lots of old favorites by Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding and The Supremes.
She has a great knack of really involving the audience in her performance and she has a voice that is simply awesome. So if you get a chance to see Lisa Hunt and her band, then make sure you do! It will be a night you will not forget"--Jann Burmester.

"Set yourself up for a big night of soul with the consuming, passionate and reverberating sound of Lisa Hunt.   Hunt has a fierce voice, which commands large numbers and will fill the beer garden at the Hotel Brunswick without falter."
"Fans of Hunt will flock for a spot up the front to witness her extraordinary vocal range. Singing with a style made famous by the past millennium's soul sisters, the likes of
Areatha Franklin and similar, Lisa Hunt takes up the available space in the room with frank deliveries of soul standards."   "She's good for dancing, she's even better to kick back and watch, listen and enjoy. And if one gig isn't enough, Lisa Hunt's Forever Soul returns later in the New Year."

"The powerful songstress turned back the clock as the audience sat spellbound listening to her vocal range, while others couldn't contain their need to dance to the stirring beat."   So why does an African American soul singer visit Country Music Capital? To bring a little "soul" to our festival -- and she achieved what she set out to do, if the enthusiastic audience upstairs at Tamworth RSL last Thursday evening was any indication.

"Lisa Hunt and her band are by far the most incredible entertainment we use for our clients events.
We have brought Lisa out to various destinations for both corporate and private events and she has an amazing ability to get everyone involved, engaged and dancing on the dance floor (or up on stage as one of her back up singers).
At times we have had clients brief us that traditionally no one has danced at their events, but when Lisa is up on stage there is no one at their seats.
Lisa's warmth, humour and unbelievable talent is what makes her unique.
There is no one like Lisa!"
