Happy New Year 2009!
‘Forever Soul’ is approaching its 10th Anniversary and still going strong with more dates than ever! Public or private, Lisa and band still get the party started like no other with the very best of Sweet Soul, Motown, R&B and Disco.
Some highlight events of the 2008 season were: Harley Davidson (Hog Rally in Lennox Head and the Sydney Opera House), Foxtel, Audi Australia, Newcastle Permanent, Dupont and Hamilton Island Yacht Race Week.
Lisa headlined in these festivals: Byron Bay Blues and Roots, Brisbane’s Groove and Grape, The Caloundra Music Festival, Jazz in the Vine and Ballina Riverfest; with soul stirring performances that give her a reputation that’s usually reserved for celebrities.
Gala Ball/Fundraiser’s included: Spinal injury Assoc, Children’s Cancer institute, Eating Disorder Foundation, Hunter Medical Research, The Mayor’s Ball Ipswich and The Dungog Film festival.
Australian Idol’s “My Mum Rocks” Winner NSW
She’s a wedding day favorite act as well as playing all her regular venues up and down coast and inland; The Tamworth Country Music festival has had her there for 8 years. Lisa says “I’m always looking to expand my horizon and hope the soul train will make it to a station near you in the coming months. I’d like to thank everyone for their continued support and look forward to breaking into new territory; Darwin, Perth and Adelaide, can you hear me? Lol”
